Discover more with additional workshops in August
The NDIS Workforce Capability Framework (the Framework), tools and guides have been released, along with refreshed web pages and new resources to assist with improving the quality of workers and providers and establish a shared language of ‘what good looks like’ for participants receiving supports.
After a series of successful workshops in June, three additional workshops are available for participants and providers wanting to learn more about improving service quality through recruitment, supervision and training.
Join Director, Samantha Jenkinson, for a workshop in August and find out how the Framework could assist you! Whether you are a provider, recruiter, self-managing participant, participant wanting to get involved with the recruitment of workers or a family member who assists in hiring workers, there is a session for you.
These sessions are more detailed than the June sessions and is appropriate for people who may be familiar with the Framework, or who want to know more. The June sessions will be available soon for viewing on our website.
Providers: Friday 4 August, 4pm AEST
In this session, Samantha Jenkinson will discuss how the Framework could assist providers in setting role expectations, recruitment, and areas such as providing feedback and reinforcing role description. This session is more detailed than our June sessions and is appropriate for people who may be familiar with the Framework or want to know more.
You will be taken through the Position Description Tool and Recruitment and Selection Resources, with practical examples and scenarios.
Participants: Monday 7 August, 3pm AEST
In this session, Samantha Jenkinson will discuss how the Framework could assist participants in recruiting support workers from start to finish, and providing regular feedback to workers.

Providers: Thursday 10 August, 4pm AEST
In this session, Samantha Jenkinson will discuss how the Framework could assist providers in having robust ways of supervising, managing, providing professional development opportunities, identifying gaps and how to provide feedback or review performance.
You will be taken through the Training and Development Guide and Supervising for Capability Resources.
